New output filter for label and matrix printing

Compart has expanded its offering of output filters for label and matrix printing.

All solutions of the DocBridge® family now support output on Zebra and Datamax devices as well as ESC/P-based dot matrix printers. This broadens Compart’s expertise in the logistics/transport and production industries where label and matrix printing is absolutely essential. Zebra and Datamax devices are virtually ubiquitous in industrial manufacturing (goods receipt/shipping, inventory management, forwarding, pallets). ESC/P printers, on the other hand, are used mainly for printing specific industrial and regional forms (including customs and forwarding documents).

With the new filters, Compart creates a technological bridge between existing document and output management structures (legacy) and the growing digitalization in production for the value chain (Industry 4.0). Harald Grumser, founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Compart: “We are facing the dawn of a new age, which I believe will impact our lives even more than the invention of the printing press 500 years ago. The real and the virtual worlds are converging; factories and machines are electronically networked, as are customers, suppliers and manufacturers. This will undoubtedly affect document processing.”

Grumser maintains that manufacturing companies need to prepare documents and data streams of different types and formats as efficiently as possible for output on all physical and electronic channels, while leveraging their legacy structures. “Compart”, continues the CEO, “has the right solutions”.

Compart is one of the most experienced specialists in optimizing document, content and print data and guarantees the highest print quality, including for label and matrix printing, with the state-of-the-art technologies of its DocBridge® family of solutions.
