Dithering
Dithering is a technique used in computer graphics to create mixed colors by a diffusion of colored pixels with a limited color palette. The technique is based on the fact that the human eye does not distinguish colors at a certain distance. Dithering is also known as Error diffusion. There are different dithering algorithms. The following algorithms are used by Compart products for format conversion: * Clustered Dithering * Dispersed Dithering * Floyd-Steinberg Dithering * Jarvis-Judice-Ninke Dithering * Stucki Dithering * Threshold Dithering
