Corporate Design
A company’s or organization’s Corporate design (CD) is one aspect of its Corporate Identity (CI). The corporate design encompasses all aspects of the outward appearance. This includes the design of communicative devices like company nameplates and signboards, business documents, advertising material and the website as well as the product design (graphical user interfaces of the software etc.). To achieve a high recognition value, all elements of the Corporate design have a uniform appearance. This means that the company colors, logo and other basic elements (e.g. the Compart bracket) are used for all communicative devices (usually in a similar set-up). Another part of the CD is a consistently used typeface (Compart currently uses the sans-serif font Source Sans Pro).
