Program changes and cancellation of seminars

Please understand that we reserve the right to cancel seminars, e.g. if the number of participants is too low (less than four), the instructor cancels, due to force majeure, or similar reasons for which we are not at fault.

In each case, we strive to inform you about cancellations or necessary changes to the program in a timely manner. If we have to cancel a seminar, we will suggest an alternative date, if possible. If the participant does not agree to this date, we will refund the paid seminar fee immediately upon request.

Additional liability claims and claims for damages unrelated to loss of life, physical injury or damage to health are not permitted if there is no instance of willful intent or gross negligence on our part. Please also be aware of this when booking flights, train tickets or overnight accommodations.

We are authorized to make necessary changes or deviations before or during the event in terms of content, method and organization as long as this does not significantly change the benefits of the advertised event for the participant.

Participation fees
The respective participation fees are indicated on the Internet in the Compart seminar announcements or in the specific event flyers. Fees are based on the content of the seminar and scope of the event. The participant fees are fixed prices and apply per participant; the fees are due upon receiving the invoice. The prices do not include value-added tax. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account specified in the invoice, specifying the name of the participant, the seminar topic and the invoice number.

The fees include the specialist lecture, the seminar documents, a certificate of participation, nonalcoholic refreshments and a lunch in the case of day-long events. The seminar documents are handed out to the participant on the day of the event.
Hotel reservations

The participants must organize their own arrival and overnight accommodations, if necessary. This is not included in the seminar fees. At the participant's request, Compart can assist with hotel reservations near the location of the training session.

Right of withdrawal for consumers

You have the right to withdraw your registration without explanation within 14 days of receiving the registration confirmation. No cancellation fees will be applied. Sending off your cancellation to the address listed above in a timely manner within this period is sufficient for meeting the deadline. This right to cancellation does not apply if the booked seminar has taken place and the participant took part.

Cancellation must be in writing, by mail, fax or email to education@compart.com.

We apologize for not being able to accept cancellations over the phone and thank you for your understanding.

Cancellations are subject to the following conditions:

  • In the case of cancellation up to 1 week before the seminar starts, half of the seminar fee is refunded at the participant's request.
  • If the cancellation is less than 7 days before the seminar starts or if the participant fails to turn up at the seminar, the participant has no claim to a refund of the participation fee. The seminar documents are then sent to the participant on request.
