Abstract
A merger between two traditional banking houses is a major endeavor for customer business, but it is one of Herculean proportions for IT.
The strategy and structure of a company are also always reflected in its data records and IT architecture, which has an enormous impact on ECM systems if the bank's history and all its data structures are stored there.
The multitude of file formats and special requirements for ECM output (print/monitor/m@il) are a major challenge for the rendering subsystem.
